Skoda has picked up the prestigious Red Dot award in the 'Brands' category this year for its successful brand communication.
Skoda won over the jury with its successful brand communication at the 'Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2019', picking up the prestigious Red Dot in the 'Brands' category.
Skoda's innovative 'For whatever drives you' brand campaign contributed to the firm's win of the Red Dot award As part of the 'Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2019' competition, companies, designers and agencies from 54 countries submitted nearly 8,700 pieces of work in the field of brand and communication design. In order to convince the jury of 25 international experts, companies had to present their vision, brand values and unique identity as well as set themselves apart from the competition.
Brand communication also plays a key role in this regard. In addition to showcasing the brand on the international website, Skoda also received the prestigious Red Dot award in the 'Brands' category for the brand campaign 'For whatever drives you' launched this year as well as the three-volume 'Skoda Auto Chronicle', also published this year.
Skoda presents itself as a particularly diverse brand. The Czech car manufacturer will be celebrating its 125th anniversary next year. In May, the brand entered the era of electromobility by presenting the Citigoe and the Superb iV. In spring, the international jury of experts also awarded the Skoda Scala the coveted Red Dot for Product Design, bringing the total to 13 Red Dot awards for Skoda's vehicles.
