With a cutting-edge chassis system and the the BMW Group's most powerful four-cylinder engine, the new BMW M135i xDrive arrives on our shores.

BMW Asia and Performance Munich Autos have announced the availability of the new BMW M135i xDrive in Singapore.


An additional insert fitted in each of the outer air intakes highlights the sporting intentions, while the grille surrounds and additional elements finished in Cerium Grey serve to distinguish the car as the flagship of the range.
Additional model-specific trims include the exterior mirrors and the BMW M rear apron finished in High-gloss Black, and the exclusive BMW M rear spoiler in body colour, which adds a final flourish to the hatchback's distinctive design.


A peak torque of 450Nm comes on stream at 1,750rpm and stays there up to 4,500rpm, allowing the flagship model to race to 100km/h from rest in a mere 4.8 seconds, while top speed is limited to 250km/h.
Additional bracing in the front is complemented by a tower-to-tower strut and an anti-roll bar mounting with high preload working with a multi-link rear axle, in order to provide excellent support for the body and a smooth ride. Handling prowess is further honed thanks to the M Sport steering and Adaptive suspension including Variable Damper Control, while M Sport brakes offer excellent fade resistance and abundant reserves of stopping power at all times.


Discreet lighting from the illuminated interior trim pieces and the optional large panoramic glass roof add a further layer of appeal in the range-topping BMW 1 Series.
The new BMW M135i xDrive will come with BMW's latest Parking Assistant as standard, which stores the steering movements for any section the car has just driven forward at no more than 36km/h in order to allow the car to steer itself in reverse, for distances of up to 50m at up to 9km/h along exactly the same line it took when moving forward.
The car also comes with the full suite of Comfort Access features, allowing it to be locked and unlocked from a smartphone using Near Field Communication technology. Holding the smartphone up to the door handle opens the car - even if the phone battery is depleted, while the engine can be started as soon as the phone has been placed in the wireless charging tray.
The new BMW M135i xDrive is now available for viewing at the Performance Munich Autos showroom.
