Mercedes-Benz launches its advertising campaign for the electric EQC with Global Diamond Certified R&B star The Weeknd.

Mercedes-Benz has launched a new advertising campaign titled Enjoy Electric, which looks back at its 133-year history of innovation, development and progress, culminating with the introduction of the all electric Mercedes EQC.


In the long version of the film, which went live on 29 November 2019, The Weeknd is notified via an app that the vehicle's battery is charged and the EQC is ready to go. The film then shows a journey through the history of Mercedes-Benz, highlighting some iconic moments and car models. Starting from the Benz patent motor car of 1886, through the first racing cars and current young classic cars to the new EQC. This time travel emphasises that the new EQC is not only another electric car, but the first one that has the experience from 133 years of automotive innovations: It's more than electric. It's a Mercedes.
