Skoda has been chosen by out of hours GP service Medvivo, to help its clinicians reach NHS patients in the South West.
Skoda's SUV lineup will support the GP service, which is commissioned to deliver primary medical services outside normal working hours to those in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. The load space of Karoq and Kodiaq and the vehicles' reliability were a vital requirement in order to safely carry the clinicians' medical equipment and passengers comfortably across the vast counties.
Medvivo is rated as 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission and its fleet of 22 vehicles is a vital component to deliver a high-quality service. The low running costs of the vehicles was an important factor to the business, who worked alongside Lookers Leasing and Skoda fleet to create a full-service package.
Making up the trio of Skoda cars on order is the Octavia Scout. The rugged estate not only offers ample load space for the medical team but its 4X4 capabilities and rough road protection package will come in use during bad weather on country roads.
